On Wednesday, Kylie Jenner graced the cover of Forbes' August issue, which ranked her as one of the most successful women entrepreneurs in America. "Welcome to the era of extreme fame leverage", the blurb on the cover added next to a shot of the reality star.

"The publication also tweeted the news using the hashtag "#SelfMadeWomen".

Robehmed's article describes how Jenner owns 100 percent of Kylie Cosmetics, which has very little overhead and marketing costs. While it is true her cosmetics company, Kylie Cosmetics, is worth multimillions, netizens do not agree that the term "self-made" applies to Jenner.

Jenner now ranks at number 27 on Forbes' list of "America's Richest Self-Made Women". "Her story is not inspiring or motivating for anyone". "Self-made means having succeeded in life unaided", its post stated yesterday, July 11. Netizens are pointing out the fact that Jenner shouldn't be called "self-made" as she was born into an already rich family.

Kylie Jenner shocked her fans when she recently revealed she "got rid" of her lip fillers, and a source tells ET that the decision was influenced by her becoming a mom earlier this year to daughter Stormi.

Kylie Jenner established her cosmetics company on 2016 when she was 19-years-old. Used in a sentence: "Forbes says that Kylie Jenner is a self-made woman". "Words have meanings and it behooves a dictionary to remind us of that".

Due to this, many folks online found the fact-check pretty gratifying, and deemed's tweet a sweet, sweet serving of shade.

CNN has reached out to Forbes for comment.
