Oh no. Take a closer look at his WWE matches the same shortcoming can be seen!

Meanwhile, Diaz also had problems with Cormier, who he criticized for his UFC 200 performance against former middleweight champion Anderson Silva not to mention getting involved in this near melee with Lesnar just seconds after knocking out Stipe Miocic to become heavyweight champion.

Following his appearance at UFC 226, reports have stated that Lesnar will likely be dropping the Universal title soon ahead of his switch from WWE to UFC for a potential fight vs Daniel Cormier inside the Octagon.

Well, the heels have now been picked up.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Brock Lesnar will defend the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam in August.

Rousey is now preparing for Extreme Rules where she will be part of the RAW Women's Championship Match between title-holder Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax. The Monday after Lesnar's UFC run-in, he was nowhere to be found on Monday Night Raw, and not only was he not on the bill but his name wasn't even mentioned. It is now believed that was done on goal and to keep the focus on Extreme Rules and its build-up.

It appears that McMahon wants to create the impression with fans that Lesnar walked out so he could go back to UFC and therefore is not going to return to drop the title.

Either way, it would seem we're in for a new Universal champion at SummerSlam, though Lesnar has shocked us before when we thought he would lose. He points out that Brock Lesnar is in a field of his own right now as a part-time UFC fighter and a part-time WWE Superstar. The only thing now will be to have the fans not cheer Lesnar's return but have them on the side of Reigns, and that simply hasn't worked out as Vince McMahon has hoped.
