Jabari Parker, Bulls working on deal

Though Parker has alternated between power and small forward, the Bulls' initial plan is to start him at small forward, a position of need.

Jabari Parker #12 of the Milwaukee Bucks heads to the locker room after the game against the Boston Celtics in Game Six of Round One of the 2018 NBA Playoffs on April 26, 2018 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The report cited unidentified league sources.

Parker is a tough guy to peg, because all he needs is for one team to think his upside overshadows his injury history and he's going to be in for a big payday. Milwaukee can match any contract he signs.

Parker, the No. 2 pick in the 2014 National Basketball Association draft, has averaged 15.3 points and 5.5 rebounds over four seasons. Last season, he averaged 12.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game after recovering from a torn ACL.

Parker has averaged 17.9 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.1 steals per 36 minutes during his career.

The Kings signed Bulls restricted free agent Zach LaVine to a four-year, $80 million offer sheet last week.

"If either Chicago or Sacramento offers a large contract to Parker, it may be hard for the Bucks to match".
