This year, in honor of the Festival's silver jubilee, the legendary Borg-Warner Trophy, which commemorates the winners of the Indianapolis 500, has been transported outside the USA for only the second time in history.

Goodwood - As promised, a prototype of Toyota's all-new and highly anticipated Supra made its dynamic debut on the famous hill at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed. I was at Indianapolis in 1993, a very important year for us, the first year we had the Festival of Speed and it inspired me with lots of great ideas actually. We had no idea it would be such a success.

Juergen Maier, CEO Siemens UK & Ireland, said, "To help celebrate Goodwood's 25th year anniversary, we've partnered with Cranfield University to bridge the gap between the legacy of the automotive industry while pointing to the future of autonomy in terms of both motoring and wider industrial applications". Dan was such a wonderful man, we all miss him. This year, an autonomous race vehicle is driving itself around the 1.16 mile track, while visitors to Goodwood also get to sit in the virtual passenger seat for an immersive ride along.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is the event where there's a big chance you will see your favorite auto going up the hill as it gathers a wide variety of production models, concepts, and quirky creations like the V8-powered Aston Martin Cygnet and the Honda Mean Mower.
