With the launch of Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! happening later this year on November 16, this announcement may indicate the production of other Pokemon Funko in the future, although nothing more has been announced at this time. In Pokemon Yellow Version, players received the Kanto starters by completing various tasks, but this new map shows that trainers will encounter Bulbasaur near the daycare right under Cerulean City, likely so that they will be able to more easily defeat Misty.

A new Japanese trailer for Pokemon Let's Go confirms the return of anime villains Jessie and James. Since Pokemon GO is still as popular as ever, Let's Go will allow your Switch and mobile devices to communicate with one another, letting you transfer your favorite Pokemon from GO into your Switch RPG. For years, version-exclusive Pokémon have been a genius trick on Nintendo's part. Likewise, Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee will receive Bellsprout, Meowth and Vulpix.

With that in mind, now we can all enjoy Let's Go for what it is: A slightly simplified Pokémon title that will be an accessible entry point to the series for the less experienced players among us, and a fun game that both retains core elements while making some neat changes. Now it looks like the toy company has acquired the Pokemon license and more figures should be announced very soon.

The Pokemon Company has uploaded a brief look at the world and features of Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee on YouTube, teasing a location you can explore "like never before!"
