Love Island host Caroline Flack had told the contestants that fans had been voting for their favourite couples, and that the three pairs with the lowest number of votes were up for elimination.

She says: "Georgia and Sam, Megan and Wes, you are not quite safe yet".

After all the drama with Wes Nelson and then THAT kiss between Jack Fowler and Georgia Steel, it finally seemed like things were going Laura Anderson's way. Your fate now lies in the hands of your fellow Islanders.

However, after watching a quick glimpse of tonight's episode it looks like more trouble could be on the horizon for the 29-year-old flight attendant as he allows his head to be turned by one of the new girls in the villa.

Caroline explained to the rest of the group: "Islanders you must now decide as a group who should remain as a couple in the villa".

'Do you know what it is, I don't think we've been through this situation before.

Their co-stars deliberate over who to send home, with some backing Georgia and Sam, and others backing Megan and Wes.

Unfortunately Alexandra also spots her man's new attention, and decides to ask him about it as they relaxed in the garden.

She fumed: "I don't feel how my fellow Islanders feel me and Sam haven't been real with each other".

"This doesn't have to be the end of your Love Island journey".

Caroline gave Georgia and Sam a simple choice: If you want to stay together then leave the island as a couple.

Flack tells them that, before they make their decision, two new boys and two new girls are about to join the show. You will decide who to couple up with on the next recoupling.

As Georgia broke down in tears, she declared: "I want to be with you Sam and no one else".

Islanders you must now decide as a group who should remain as a couple in the villa.

"I think you've made a stupid fucking decision and you're going to be crying George, and you're [Sam] going to be upset".

Four new arrivals Stephanie Lam, Laura Crane, Paul Knops and Josh Mair threaten the sanctity of the villa, but will the evicted couple chose to stay on the island?

Love Island airs at 9pm every night on ITV2.
