Husband and wife trapeze performers Mary and Tyce, known as "Duo Transcend", were performing their routine when she slipped through his hands and fell to the ground. Tyce got down to hug her and give her a kiss.

Mary stood back up and signaled that she was OK. The judges and audience reacted with horror, and Mary's mother, in the audience with the couple's two-year-old son Jaxx, recoiled. Although, he admitted falling off a trapeze was more risky than falling off key.

But Mary had landed on the safety mat and while very sore, was not badly injured.

The couple, clearly embarrassed by the mishap, asked the judges for a chance to do their act again. This is not "America's Got Perfection" - it's 'America's Got Talent.' No one can do this.

In response to a second attempt, judge Mel B said, "No, it's fine!" Jeong shared. "Nobody can do this. I mean, it's OK". It's fine. I don't think they should try that.

"You almost broke your neck", Simon Cowell said. "It doesn't make them not incredible". He also pointed out how "incredible" it was that Tyce was able to do the performance even though he is almost blind.

Despite the judges laughing and applauding Lily on, they made a decision to eliminate the young charmer just before the "AGT" live shows. "It's been such a long road to get here, and to be through to the live shows means we're one step closer to the dream".

"You nearly got hurt very badly and your first thought was 'Let me do that again!' only on America's Got Talent does that happen", added Howie Mandel.
