Walter White may appear in 'Better Call Saul,' creator says

Paul even brought Story on stage during the cast panel to show her elaborate threads off to Breaking Bad fans, and they, along with fans online, adored the actor's tribute to the show.

"I think there's an excellent chance of any and all these folks showing up [on Better Call Saul]", Gilligan said, referring to all the panelists (full list below).

Of course, with a Breaking Bad reunion panel to directly follow the BCS shindig on Thursday, Gilligan and fellow EP Peter Gould danced but did not really make a move on whether Walter White and Jesse Pinkman are steeping back into the New Mexico landscape.

Before the panel started, Hall H was shown a trailer for the new season where clearly Jimmy McGill is on his way to becoming Saul Goodman with the death of his Michael McKean played brother Chuck taking the ethical brakes off. They've said that Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul won't be making appearances this season, but we've got to be getting close right? Given Gilligan's comments, it's possible you'll see any and all of these characters show up on Better Call Saul in the future, but probably not Aaron Paul's infant.

"We're all very proud of our show and I think in some ways it's best to leave it alone", he said.

Bob Odenkirk, who plays Goodman in Better Call Saul, told the crowd at the show's SDCC panel that Season 4 will include a character that many fans have long wondered about, as he was fearfully mentioned but never explained.

Asked if they would ever consider a "Breaking Bad" movie, Cranston had a firm answer: "No".
