Warner taking the DC Extended Universe underwater with the release of the upcoming "Aquaman", starring "Game of Thrones" alum Jason Momoa.

We already knew the first Aquaman trailer would involve sharks and kings, and even after some high expectations set by director James Wan, it didn't disappoint.

There is now a lot of hype surrounding this year's Warner Bros. panel at Comic-Con International in San Diego. For the time being, though, what did you think of the Aquaman trailer?

Momoa shared a short clip of himself atop a cliff somewhere in Hawaii yesterday in which he thanked fans for their support, before jumping off the cliff into the water below, swims down and retrieves a phone which he shows to the camera to reveal "trailer tomorrow". Jason Momoa stars as Aquaman, with Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Randall Park, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Willem Dafoe, Graham McTavish, Temuera Morrison, Michael Beach, Ludi Lin, and featuring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta.

Aquaman will be out in theaters on December 21.

The movie follows Arthur Curry, aka Aquaman, as he learns he's the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis and is caught in a battle between surface dwellers and his people who believe humans are a threat to their way of life and are ready to invade.
