From music to modeling to burger joints and now to vehicle dealerships, Mark Wahlberg is on the move.

Actor Mark Wahlberg completed the purchase a Chevrolet dealership in Columbus, Ohio July 19, reports Automotive News, in partnership with a longtime auto dealer friend.

The 47-year-old actor, producer, businessman and former rapper on Thursday announced he's launching his first auto dealership, Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet after purchasing Bobby Layman Chevrolet on West Broad Street in Columbus, Ohio. The actor has partnered with Detroit-area franchise owner Jay Feldman for a Chevrolet dealership in Columbus, Ohio, of all places.

"I am continuously looking for ways to innovate my brand and engage in businesses I am passionate about", said Wahlberg, per 10TV. "I love cars and the chance to work with an experienced, proven dealer-operator like Jay and represent an iconic brand like Chevrolet inspired me to get involved".

Wahlberg has been a businessman for quite some time, owning several ventures stemming from his chain of burger joints to a bottled water company.

Apparently, Wahlberg and Feldman were looking to buy a auto dealership together since early past year and Feldman stated that they learned about this recent opportunity from Tim Lamb Group, an advisory firm.
