Will Glass deliver the Unbreakable sequel fans have been waiting for for 18 years?

Now, Shyamalan's follow-up finds him continuing the story as James McAvoy's character and his multiple identites (including the terrifying The Beast) team with Dunn and Price to face a bigger threat, the path one might expect for this Avengers-esque team-up. Glass (Samuel L. Jackson), and McAvoy's split-personality character Kevin Wendell Crumb, who is host to a supernatural being known as The Beast, all find themselves locked up together in the same institution.

Dunn (Bruce Willis) and Price (Samuel L. Jackson) are from the 2000 film Unbreakable which, in Shyalaman's best twist since The Sixth Sense, was connected to Crumb (James McAvoy) and the 2016 film Split in its final moments.

Joining the all-star cast are Unbreakable's Spencer Treat Clark and Charlayne Woodard, who reprise their roles as Dunn's son and Price's mother, as well as Golden Globe Award victor Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story series). "It's kind of the modern-day equivalent of "I think I'm Jesus" or "I'm an emperor'".

Anya Taylor-Joy will also return and Sarah Paulson will join the cast as a psychologist who studies people who believe they are superheroes.

If Shyamalan can continue his hot streak, this Glass could end up being the surprise hit of the winter.
