Johnny Depp's Gellert Grindelwald is a big focus in the new Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald trailer.

The young version of Dumbledore is being played by Jude Law, who is coming off the success of playing the younger version of the Pope in TV series Young Pope.

Fans cheered hard inside Hall H where the San Diego Comic-Con took place, as Grindelwald swished the wand around before the second Fantastic Beasts 2 trailer was screened.

At the end there is a surprise appearance from alchemist Nicolas Flamel, who Harry Potter fans will remember as the maker of the Philosopher's Stone. He wants to establish a new wizarding order.

And finally, we catch a glimpse of Newt going toe-to-toe with the villain, Grindelwald taunting him by saying "Mr. Scamander, do you think Dumbledore will mourn for you?"

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald - which also stars Zoë Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Kevin Guthrie, Carmen Ejogo, and Poppy Corby-Tuech - opens on November 16.

We got a peek at young Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) in an image recently, but in the new Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, we get to finally see what makes our favorite magizoologist tick. What about Depp's involvement in the film and the panel? Later we see Grindelwald preaching his vision to wizards, and potentially "rising to dominance". The rest of the cast joined him onstage shortly afterward. Harry Potter fans were already pretty hyped for the sequel, but the Hall H panel along with the tease of Flamel and the true evil powers of Grindelwald have sent some fans into insane excitement. Even without Harry, Hermione, and Ron, Fantastic Beasts did massive numbers at the box office, earning $814 million to date.

On top of the new trailer, Warner Bros. also released an official SDCC poster for the film, asking "Who will change the future?"
