Although they are barely a month into production, the cast made a decision to drop by this year's San Diego Comic-Con.

"Wonder Woman 1984" hits theaters on November 1, 2019.

Directed by Patty Jenkins and written by Dave Callaham, who based the script on a treatment by Jenkins and Geoff Johns, Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot as the titular heroine, Kristen Wiig as Cheetah, Pedro Pascal in an undisclosed role, and Chris Pine as Steve Trevor.

Wonder Woman 1984 joined Aquaman and Shazam! as the superhero heavy-hitters at this year's convention.

Keep on waiting. Even with Pine's presence on the sequel's panel at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, the team kept that a secret.

Wonder Woman lands in the mall in full costume, with a little girl saying oh my gosh as Wonder Woman tosses her into a plush bear while apprehending two gunmen and crushing their guns.

Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman is the shining light of the slightly tarnished DCEU, so naturally, fans were eager to see her return in all her glory at SDCC - and she didn't disappoint. She disarms them, then lassos them and jumps from one level of the mall to the other.

"It's something I'm super excited for everybody to see", said Jenkins. "It really was mankind at its best and worst", she said, referring to the geopolitical tumult of the era. "To have Wonder Woman in that period of time that was us at our most extreme, is wonderful".
