Friday forecast: Isolated storm chance today, dry this weekend

Storms will fade after sundown, then we'll be left with only a slight chance of rain overnight, along with some clouds and lows in the upper 60s.

Rain chances continue to remain high at 70 percent with PM showers and storms. Lows will be in the upper 60s Monday night. Light south wind becoming southeast 5 to 10 miles per hour in the morning. Keep the umbrellas handy!


Next week brings highs generally in the mid 80s to low 90s temperature range however with more cloud cover and possibility of rain on some days don't be surprised by even cooler temperatures than the forecast indicates.

A few scattered severe storms (Orange/Yellow) possible in Western Ohio today. Highs will be in the 80s to near 90 inland. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Highs will be in the middle to upper 80s. On Thursday, a cold front will finally move in from the northwest helping to set off a few more showers and storms, but more importantly, it'll help clear and "reset" our airmass with drier, more comfortable air for the weekend!

Next weekend: Rain chances look to be back on the rise for Saturday and Sunday. Highs for the day will be near 82 degrees.
