Liverpool FC have a decision to make over Nabil Fekir, with Lyon intimating that they would be prepared to do a deal, Dharmesh Sheth has claimed.

The move that still seems to be on everyone's lips however, is the speculated transfer of Nabil Fekir from Olympique Lyonnais to Anfield, a saga that is still set to run all summer.

Liverpool came close to signing the French global before the World Cup but the deal did not go through, with reports suggesting that the Reds were not happy with something found in the player's medical.

Liverpool are thought to still be chasing the France midfielder though with Jurgen Klopp still keen to recruit any late additions to his squad.

Liverpool FC have signed Brazil global Fabinho in a £39m deal from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco in the current transfer window.

Lyon president is reportedly doing all he can to keep Fekir at the club and after all that he has said this summer, he would be disappointed to see the Frenchman leave.

Transfer news: Liverpool & Real Madrid target Nabil Fekir urged to stay at Lyon by Aulas

President Jean-Michel Aulas has not been shy from speaking about the player and a possible move to the North-West of England.

Before their report, Aulas had this to say on the player: "I never felt like he wanted to leave us. If he hasn't left by the end of July, he'll stay".

"We want to play a very good season, to give Bruno the necessary tools to do that, and the size of the offer will not change our position on Nabil, only what the player wants to do".

Fekir scored 18 goals in 30 Ligue 1 appearances for Lyon last season, setting up a further seven as he captained them to a third-place finish in the French top flight.

That's three days after the transfer window slams shut.
