This one comes in a box that nearly looks ready for retail. Now, due to numerous leaks, we have a solid idea of what the device will look like. We do have photos of it, however.

Original coverage, August 08, 09:58AM ET:We're still a couple of months away from the expected launch of the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in October, but the leaks just aren't stopping. The Pixel 3 XL, meanwhile, may boast a light green power button instead.

Another new tidbit we learned from these images is that Google is apparently planning on including a pair of Pixel Buds-esque headphones in the box, but these will be wired. On Wednesday, several high quality photographs of Google's upcoming flagship smartphone from blogger Ivan Luchkov were shared by, giving us our first clear look at the phone being taken out of its retail packaging, confirming all of the leaks about its brand new design.

According to screenshots, this is the Google Pixel 3 XL, and it runs an Adreno 630 GPU in a Qualcomm Snapdragon system-on-chip. You can see the full unboxing video over at Android Police. The notch on the Pixel 3 XL does look slightly better on these pictures, though it's still slightly bigger than what we have seen on the iPhone X, and much bigger than the one on the Essential Phone. It's so large that it stretches out the status bar, making it thicker than normal, just like the Essential phone. In-box accessories can vary from country to country, so if you are that interested in pack-in Google headphones, make sure they come with the version shipping in your territory.
