August 8, 2018

After some areas of morning fog, some heat and humidity return for Wednesday with highs in the mid-80s. There will be a slight chance of an isolated afternoon shower to the west, but most of the day will be fine with partly cloudy skies at times. An isolated severe thunderstorm will be possible, but widespread severe weather is not expected. Some stronger storms can be expected with the chance for heavy rain and localized flooding, hail and gusty winds. Low temperatures will be in the lower to middle 70s.

Heat index values Monday through Friday will be in the lower 100° range. Be aware that we could see some fog later on tonight.

A secondary wave of energy from this front could then work across the area on Saturday to produce a few more scattered showers and storms. We will continue to see a mix of sun and clouds with afternoon showers/storms possible.

TONIGHT| Mainly cloudy with scattered rain and storms.

Today: Partly Cloudy, Scattered Showers/Storms (30%).

Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy, pm showers/storms. High temperatures will be in the lower to middle 90s. Dew points remain high for a next few days continuing to give us muggy conditions.
