Ryan Murphy took to Twitter to personally announce the news that numerous cast members for American Horror Story: Coven will return for the series including Taissa Farmiga, Lily Rabe, Gabourey Sidibe, Frances Conroy, and legendary rock singer Stevie Nicks.

The season is set to be one for the ages with the return of series standout Jessica Lange, who will reprise the role of the dark and twisted Constance Langdon, a character in Murder House.

Five more beloved witches just RSVP'd to American Horror Story: Apocalypse. By following in the footsteps of the entire season's premise, which is the combination of the anthology's Murder House and Coven seasons, Murphy will make fans' nightmares come true as his show extends its ensemble ambitions to its cast.

During the show's TCA panel this month, Apocalypse executive producer Alexis Martin Woodall said the season's title should be taken at face value.

Dammit, American Horror Story, we just can't quit you, even though season seven's Cult almost broke us.

More AHS family members returning for Apocalypse are Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Adina Porter, Evan Peters, Billy Eichner, Cheyenne Jackson and Emma Roberts.

The Emmy, Golden Globe and AFI Award-winning series from co-creators Murphy and Brad Falchuk aired its seventh season on FX past year.
