General manager John Dorsey told reporters Thursday the team plans to work out a gaggle of free-agent wideouts next week.

Bryant's contention is that he has indeed been in communication with the Browns.

Some reports have said Bryant had no interest in Cleveland, other reports said the Browns weren't sure.

Dorsey said he wants to bring in a group of receivers next week to help fortify a position where the Browns keep taking hits.

The first date isn't set just yet, and if the two sides decide to consummate the relationship remains to be seen.

"I actually did talk with Mr Dorsey", he wrote on Twitter.

"Starting my visits next week", Bryant tweeted. Training camps across the league are in full swing, and the first week of the regular season is less than one month away.

Cowboys Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman said he believes Bryant will play in the National Football League this season. Bryant, however, just might be too tough to get a hold of. "I'm not on anybody (else's) time".

"I spent 8 years in Dallas.I finally get to actually enjoy my babies.I get to heal properly", he continued.

Bryant, who played his first seven seasons in the National Football League with the Cowboys, caught 69 passes for 838 yards and six touchdowns last season in Dallas.
