Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Huntsman, daughter of U.S. Ambassador to Russia Jon Hunstman, would give the show a second conservative host to keep Sen. Huntsman made waves with plenty of her Fox viewers over her leaving the Mormon church over support for equal rights for women and LGBT persons.

Huntsman is also the daughter of former Republican presidential candidate Gov. John Huntsman (R-Utah), who is now President Donald Trump's U.S. Ambassador to Russian Federation.

She had a hand getting started in the industry with a behind-the-scenes job at Good Morning America when she was 16.

"This has been a dream I've always had to be on this show", she said of The View.

Her addition to "The View" will likely provide more balance to the predominantly liberal panel that fellow conservative Meghan McCain was often forced to battle on her own.

About two weeks after Sara Haines became the latest to pass through The Revolving Door of The View to host the third hour of Good Morning America with Michael Strahan, it appears Abby Huntsman has won the sweepstake to replace her.

Other "View" co-hosts include Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and McCain.

Huntsman previously worked on MSNBC's "The Cycle", which featured hosts including Ari Melber and Krystal Ball who held a range of political opinions. One thing that she will lose is her unofficial title of the "hottest reporter on Fox", as bestowed upon her by her fans and Instagram followers. But you just want to be polished. "I'm honored to go down with this brand sitting behind me every day".
