Everton have confirmed the captures of Barcelona pair Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes on a busy deadline day that also saw winger Bernard arrive on a free.

The Colombia global completed a £28.5million switch from Barcelona, having been the subject of interest from Manchester United and Lyon.

And Mina was followed to Everton by Barcelona teammate Andre Gomes, with the Catalan club confirming his move on an initial season-long loan with a fee of £2m.

Everton have signed André Gomes on loan from Barcelona.

Speaking on Bernard's acquisition, Silva added: "Bernard is a quick player, very good technically and he can play on the left or right wings and as an offensive midfield player behind the striker".

Everton trebled their tally of summer signings from Barcelona on a productive deadline day for new manager Marco Silva.

Fellow Barca bench player Andre Gomes has also chose to join the Toffees on a loan deal after consultation with Mina.

"For me, it was really good to speak to him because I know how good he is and I feel motivated to work with him and to play for Everton, a great club". But I was also convinced Everton could improve me and that I would be able to show my best as a player here'. This is a great opportunity for me and I am looking forward to competing here.

Bernard, also 25, has signed a four-year deal with the Merseyside club after his contract at Shakhtar ran out in June.

"I spoke to Lucas and he told me all about the Club, which also made me keen to come here".
