Motorola P30 leaked renders hint at an Apple iPhone X-inspired design

A previous Android Pure rumor suggests it's not just the P30 we'll see soon either, with a P30 Note and P30 Play also tipped for arrival.

While numerous Chinese smartphone vendors have been blatantly copying the iPhone X design with edge-to-edge displays and a notch at the top, none have been as shameless as Motorola.

There's more though, as on the rear you'll find a vertically stacked dual-camera module which again, is similar to that of the iPhone X.

It's not clear where these renders came from, so it's worth taking them with a pinch of salt, but they do look relatively official and parent company Lenovo has a press conference lined up for IFA 2018 at the end of the month where we could see new Motorola handsets launched. The front selfie camera is said to be of 12-megapixel. If the renders are true, this will be Motorola's first notched smartphone. As for the cameras, one will be 16MP, while the other will be 5MP. No Moto Mods, no ultra-thin design ... just an iPhone X running Android One. The renders show the device with a white-coloured back which could be the Ice Jade White coluour reported previously. The handset is expected to come with a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display along with an aspect ratio of 19:9.

While the entry-level configuration is likely to combine 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, a slightly pricier variant should bump up the local digital hoarding room to 128 gigs. It turns out that phone might be going by a different name, the Motorola P30. Another teaser hints at a 5,000mAh battery, which we assume will be offered with the Motorola P30 Note model. It should also pack a 3,000mAh capacity battery.

At the moment there is no information on announcement, pricing, or availability for the Motorola P30, and its siblings.
