Additionally, Doctor Strange star Benedict Wong has been set to voice Bull, an English bulldog. They embark on a romantic journey and eventually fall in love. Thompson, who starred in the studio's Marvel pic Thor: Ragnarok, is in talks for the role of Lady, in which star opposite Justin Theroux, who is the voice of the Tramp.

The A-list cast for The Lego Ninjago Movie director Charlie Bean's reimagining of the beloved family film is rounded out by Justin Theroux, who is voicing Lady's love interest Tramp, Kiersey Clemons as pet owner Darling, and Ashley Jensen as Jackie, the female version of Jock, a male Scottish terrier in the original movie. The film, the latest in a long line of Disney releases providing live-action updates to its original animated hits, is expected to land on Disney's still-unnamed direct-to-consumer streaming service sometime after that service launches in 2019.

Thompson has been cast as the voice for the titular Lady. The 34-year-old Creed actress is still living up her Sorry To Bother You hype and she's already secured her next role, that will only be using her voice.

The project is the latest in a long line of major genre roles for Thompson, a run which kicked into high gear previous year with her performance as Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarok. Look for Thompson to garner Independent Spirit Awards buzz for her turn in Sorry to Bother You, which now boasts a 94% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Like Thompson, Wong also co-starred in Annihilation and plays a role in the MCU, having recently appeared in Avengers: Infinity War. Wong is represented by Anonymous Content and attorney Robert S. Wallerstein.
