Ubisoft Cancels Steep for Nintendo Switch

If you're a new Nintendo Switch gamer, or if you haven't dove too far into the console's game library yet, Amazon has a sale running on select titles which drops their price from $60 to $45 while supplies last.

The beloved 1988 game will be among the 20 free NES games - including Donkey Kong and The Legend of Zelda - given to subscribers of Nintendo's Switch Online service, which is due to arrive in the second half of September. The open world shooter of Bethesda is now provided exclusively on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. When Willits was asked about a Switch release for RAGE 2 he replied with "We're looking at the tech on that right now, and we're still evaluating that". We stream everything (in Rage 2), and we're just looking... because everything is open, everything's available, so there's no level loads.

There isn't a lot else to say at this point, so I thought we might take a closer look at this glorious solitary screenshot as it helps tide up over until September. Panick button has been able to do some pretty cool work. For more information regarding RAGE 2 check out their website here.

Possibly a "NOT Virtual Console" of some description, maybe under a new "Nintendo Classics" banner might be a viable option?

What could "We'll have more exciting news to share soon." mean for Switch owners? At this point we really don't know and so speculation is the only answer but we're surely excited to see how Nintendo Online pans out in the future. Are you among those hoping to see Rage 2 on Switch, or do you think it will not be possible?
