The new protein blended cold brew is rolling out at your favorite coffee shop.

The new drinks, which feature the coffee chain's popular cold brew coffee mixed with plant-based protein powder, can be customized however you like, but Starbucks has created two to get you started.

This Starbucks cold brew creation has 10 grams of protein. Asking for a friend.

And with that, we're off to break a sweat, then fuel up on protein cold brew...from Starbucks no less.

Starting today, you can grab yourself a Starbucks blended cold brew with zero animal products and loads of plant-protein. And while the company has, in recent years, committed to offering more vegetarian and vegan items, fully vegan beverages were a little harder to come by.

You can even make these Starbucks protein beverages your own by replacing the Banana Date Fruit blend with a whole banana, or adding an extra packet of plant-based protein. The almond brew will have distinct flavors of almond milk and almond butter, and the cacao drink will have coconut milk and cacao powder in it.

Your barista can certainly do that. With the previous announcement, President and CEO of Starbucks Kevin Johnson stated, "For our partners and customers, this is a significant milestone to achieve our global aspiration of sustainable coffee, served to our customers in more sustainable ways".

The plant-based protein powder option are available for a limited time, so if you're interested in switching up your morning routine, give it a shot while you can. Of course, there are plenty of cold brew and regular coffee options as well.
