Amanda Stanton has broken her silence after being arrested in Las Vegas for domestic battery on Monday.

Hotel security personnel were reportedly called to the room where part of the event was taking place and were speaking with Jacobs when Stanton allegedly walked up and shoved him hard enough that security alerted police. Cops arrested her for misdemeanor domestic violence. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department hasn't mentioned anything about that particular detail, but did confirm that officers arrived on the scene at 3:15 a.m. local time. She was released on Monday.

'Amanda is embarrassed and ashamed this happened and sincerely apologizes to hotel security and the Las Vegas Police Department, ' Stanton's rep, Steve Honig, told Metro.co.uk.

While Bobby was talking to them, a heavily intoxicated Amanda intervened, shoving her significant other so hard that the security officer chose to call the police. "Amanda is a gentle, respectful person who has never gotten physical with anyone under any circumstance". Despite Bobby explaining that this was not an ill-intended shove, the police still had to do their job which Amanda respects and understands'. The site does mention that Stanton and Jacobs claim that something may have been slipped into her drink during the festivities.

Amanda has yet to publicly speak out on her arrest.

Stanton finished fourth on Ben Higgins season of The Bachelor and went on to appear on season three of Bachelor In Paradise where she was briefly engaged to Josh Murray. The two ended their relationship in 2017, and Stanton began dating "Bachelor" alum Robby Hayes.
