Ariana Grande's brother Frankie releases emotional tribute to Mac Miller

Ariana Grande's brother, Frankie Grande, has posted an emotional tribute to Mac Miller, who tragically passed away last week aged just 26. She captioned it: "I adored you from the day I met you when I was nineteen and I always will".

She went on to write, "i'm so sorry i couldn't fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. i hope you're okay now. rest".

One week after his death on September 7, the Sweetener singer has penned a touching tribute to her ex-boyfriend, who was found dead at his Studio City, Calif. home after an apparent drug overdose. Ariana and Mac Miller were together for two years but split in May as Mac continued to struggle with addiction.

Taking to Instagram to remember Mac, he shared an old snap and wrote: "I am beyond heartbroken over Malcom's death".

"She was a fucking G to him". She spoke about her love for Mac and added that they had talked about him overdosing "so many times". He starts saying, "If we walk", but stops when he notices Ariana is recording him. I saw that, I was around it, I took phone calls from her - 'How do I help?' 'What do I do?'

"This little girl was unbelievably involved and helpful to him being healthy". One could only imagine the type of pain she's dealing with now.

On Swimming, his final album, Mac had rapped fondly about Grande, talking about how she'd helped him even after his breakup.
