Tottenham are coming off an impressive 3-0 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Tottenham Hotspur suffered a double injury blow ahead of a key week with goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and midfielder Dele Alli ruled out for Saturday's (Sep 15) Premier League clash with Liverpool and a Champions League trip to Inter Milan on Tuesday.

He was fined £50,000 and banned from driving for 20 months.

'Of course. He's the first that regrets everything, and all that happened yesterday is not good.

"He's punishing himself. He feels so sorry and so bad because he knows that he made a big mistake". He made a mistake & has suffered the punishment of society. But of course we're not God, that we can judge people.

World Cup-winning captain Hugo Lloris has admitted being more than twice the drink-drive limit when he was stopped by police in central London. "And of course now it is a massive lesson..."

'Like a man that he is, he's going to pay and accept everything'.

'I am learning a lot!' Pochettino joked.

Meanwhile, Spurs duo of Sissoko and Foyth is expected to return to training next week after a hamstring and thigh respectively.

"First of all I want to congratulate him, because it's such an important victory to avoid the military service", Pochettino said.

Tottenham are fifth in the Premier League after they lost 2-1 to Watford, while Liverpool are top, having won all four games.

Asked then about stripping him of the role, he said: "I never considered that. I played him many times when I was playing with Nice". "I'm happy because the circumstances of the summer were so different from another season".

"He's a little but unlucky", Pochettino told Sky Sports News.

Dele Alli's absence could pave the way for Heung-min Son to come back into the side, after his return from a victorious Asia Games campaign.
