Only the first 1000 people to make it through the first 3 challenges will qualify to continue and have the microcontroller sent to them to become a potential victor. Besides the gaming setup awarded to one player winning the first prize, OnePlus will also offer prizes for players winning the second and third place.

The game itself was written by a company called Sleep Deprivation Lab which provides writing, direction, and producing services for the entertainment industry.

Davidson is an alumnus of the Sundance Film Festival (DESIGN, 2002) and has written for tabletop and video games for over two decades. The head writer of the challenge was Davidson Cole, who has worked on Shadowrun, F.E.A.R. and Eclipse Phase.
