Alec Baldwin has confirmed that Justin and Hailey are married

When pressed if he was going to do the "tough uncle" routine for Bieber, to make sure he does right by Hailey, Baldwin shut that down pretty quickly.

It seems Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin could actually have gotten married after all.

PEOPLE was the first to report on Friday that the two stars had Wednesday in a civil ceremony the day before, at a New York City courthouse.

"They just went off and got married", Alec told Access. "They went ahead and did it without listening to anyone", a source explained of the couple, who were seen walking into a courthouse where marriage licenses are issued. "You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn't want to spend it with anybody else", he added.

Two different outlets reported that JB and Hailey legally tied the knot at a courthouse on September 13, but there was still uncertainty whether the pair had truly taken the plunge. Plus, fans of the couple will recall that she deleted her tweet shortly after sharing it.

The license is also good for 60 days, so Bieber and Baldwin would have until November 13 for a public ceremony.

Bieber and Hailey dated from 2015 to 2016 before rekindling in June. And while Hailey hit Twitter to deny the speculation, her actor relative Alec - brother of her father Stephen - let the cat out of the bag as he attended the 2018 Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday night.

Seeming to forget they were out in the open, Justin caressed her face as the pair enjoyed a very steamy kiss. I was hers previous year.

However, Hailey's uncle, actor Alec Baldwin, has seemingly ignored their denials, and confirmed that the pair have been married for almost a week.

Bieber popped the question to Baldwin while on vacation in the Bahamas, CNN reported.
