Leaked Nokia 7.1 Plus (X7) renders show a notch, dual Zeiss camera

While the Nokia 7 Plus has a Zeiss camera, the 6.1 Plus (X6) and 5.1 Plus (X5) do not, so this will be a first for the series. It does feel like a premium Flagship smartphone design wise, and slightly more robust than Nokia 6.1 Plus. It would seem that we won't be getting the Nokia 9 anytime soon, however, as reports claim HMD has postponed the device's launch, with it now slated to be unveiled at MWC next year.

Weve seen purported screen panels of the Nokia 7.1 Plus (aka Nokia X7) twice now and both times without a notch. MySmartPrice has obtained an official render of the Nokia 7.1 Plus, which not only offer a clearer look at the upcoming phone but also debunks some earlier claims. The notch itself is not as big as the one found on the iPhone X or as small as Oppo's "Waterdrop" screen, but it is safe to say that it is identical to the one on Nokia 6.1 Plus.

- Nokia 5.1 comes with a high-resolution 5.5-inch Full HD+ display in 18:9 aspect ratio, making watching your favourite content - be it browsing the web, watching "Kejetia vrs Makola", sharing amusing memes or gaming - a delightful experience.

Theres no reliable info on when the Nokia 7.1 Plus/X7 will launch.

On the camera front, there is a dual-camera setup with a combination of 13-megapixel primary with LED Flash, PDAF and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor for AI portrait shots. Sensors onboard the handset include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Another thing worth noting is that the Nokia 5.1 Plus is an Android One handset, which means that it will receive monthly security patches and timely iterative software updates.

Reports also suggest that the Nokia 7.1 Plus could come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, and 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The battery capacity is unknown, but the phone should support 18W fast charging. Q3 is almost over, but the holiday quarter would be a good time to launch.
