The cube has entered Loot Lake — FORTNITE CUBE WATCH

Epic Games will most likely use the mysterious cube to introduce Fortnite Battle Royale players to season 6. If some of the recent leaks are true, this is where the cube will activate for the last time.

So, as many had suspected, the cube ended its journey by reaching Loot Lake, an area of the map many players, myself included, viewed as a large portion of wasted space due to how little it held in rewards and how tough it was to navigate safely. We were there to witness it firsthand as the cube took its final turn from the docks and into the water.

Fortnite Battle Royale patch 5.41 has added some more interesting files to the game data.

Right now, the cube is moving approximately every 27 minutes.

All the water flowing out of Loot Lake appears to be cascading over the waterfalls just as it always has, and the runes Kevin left around the map still signify domes of low-gravity fun.

After that, the lake became a giant bounce pad, allowing players to jump across it with the same weightlessness as bouncing on the cube itself.

Fortnite fans watched the cube with great interest earlier today, entire livestreams having been dedicated to following the cube's progression as it rested, almost tipped, at the edge of the lake.
