This Circus Camel Behaved More Like a 'Bucking Bronco'

The camel was brought under control within seconds, and the circus resumed without any further problems.

Pittsburgh Police and the Shrine Circus are reviewing the incident.

Seven people, majority children, were injured when a startled camel started bucking during a Pittsburgh circus. "After which a kid threw a shovel at the camel's toes, which startled the camel and it started to buck", Kester stated.

In a video posted on social media, an announcer may perchance also be heard pronouncing, "Ladies and gentlemen, dwell detached, please".

"The woman was holding onto the littlest one, then she fell right onto her head".

Shriners International-an organization devoted to doing good-should dissociate itself from the egregious cruelty inherent in using animals for entertainment and the potential harm that it can do to children, who the Shriners very adeptly work to help in other ways. Authorities say one child suffered a broken arm, while the injuries suffered by the others were considered minor.

No animals, including the camel, were injured during the incident and all were checked out and cleared by a veterinarian. The animal modified into no longer injured, officials stated.

A recent expert report detailed the neglect, abuse, and coercion of animals at Shrine circuses, including trainers whipping and jabbing tigers with prods, striking an elephant in the jaw, and forcing distressed, muzzled bears to do handstands.

"This is yet another reason animal circuses should be banned", the group said.

A video from one witness shows the camel running wild while at the Shrine Circus in Pittsburgh on Sunday afternoon.
