Though her husband - former CBS chairman Les Moonves, 68 - stepped down from his executive position after he was accused of sexual misconduct, CBS insiders tell TMZ that the network doesn't want to punish her for Les's alleged misdeeds. Big Brother doesn't appear to be in any danger of cancellation at the moment, even if it hasn't gotten another renewal, so provided these reports are accurate, Chen will likely be hosting the reality series for the foreseeable future.

Julie Chen will remain the host of "Big Brother" because CBS won't ask her to go and she wants to stay.

"Right now I need to spend more time at home with my husband and my young son, so I have chose to leave The Talk", she said. She recently posted a video message saying she is exiting The Talk after 8 seasons.

She made no mention of the case involving Moonves. Chen called the trio "The Three Musketeers" in her goodbye message, played at the end of Tuesday's episode.

Short story. she's coming back to "Big Bro". Since then, "The View" righted itself and has taken over first place. The actress who's in the "Roseanne" reboot also saw Roseanne Barr fired from that show for an offensive tweet.
