Senior NFL Reporter at NBC Sports Boston Albert Breer said on the Quick Slants New England Patriots Podcast Gordon tweaked his hamstring during a promo shoot, and the Browns weren't pleased about that.

"I think if they're in there, it's up to the coaches to decide those things", Brady said when asked about Gordon's impact while not fully knowing the team's offensive system. "You know, just try to acclimate himself to what the program is". "Look, he's been here for a few days, so we're working at it every day, and every day you try to make improvements", Brady said on this afternoon to the media.

Bill Belichick finally confirmed what was widely known.

"I think everybody feels like this is a talented player", Belichick told Patriots.com's Scott Zolak this week.

"The history of Josh Gordon is beyond riddled with off-field issues, substance abuse, consistently letting the team down that drafted him and continually, time after time showed faith in him and brought him back - I thought it was a bad trade quite honestly", King said. "He's worked hard. He's picked up a lot".

Gordon's trade from the Browns to the Patriots sparked a number of questions, including why the Pats gave up so little (a 2019 fifth-round pick) for the electric playmaker, plus a seventh-round pick in 2019. "We'll see how it all shakes out".

Although some have set the bar very high when it comes to expectations for Gordon, both Brady and Belichick have been downplaying them.

Linebacker Dont'a Hightower added, "he's a tremendous athlete, a great receiver".
