Arsenal moved into the top six on the Premier League table after recording a 2-0 win over Everton at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners, whose flawless streak extends to five matches in all competitions, earned their latest three-point haul through second-half goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The visitors continued to keep a high tempo, forcing Arsenal into a couple of defensive errors as Emery's side once again tried to play out from the back.

Arsenal have endured difficulties at the back for years as Emery's predecessor Arsene Wenger struggled to find the right players to man his defence.

"Our challenge is to be competitive for 90 minutes of each match and this is one thing to improve".

Sokratis was forced off with an injury soon after, with Rob Holding replacing the Greece defender for Arsenal, who nearly took a fortuitous lead into half-time as Aubameyang's misplaced cross flummoxed Pickford and came back off the crossbar.

"We are speaking before each match to take a mentality of "don't concede chances easily", he added.

"With this process I think we also need time, but it's our first disappointment from the first games of the season". But not only for the defensive players, for the whole team, the first XI and the other players.

"I think my performances in training are good".

"It always felt I was I was a little bit at Arsenal, and a little bit here".

Marco Silva responded with a double change as Cenk Tuson and Bernard replaced Theo Walcott and Dominic Calvert-Lewin for the final 20 minutes.

The Blues had started the season well before a poor performance last weekend saw them slump to a 3-1 defeat to West Ham United.

"It's something we analysed during the week".

"I said at the start that Andriy needs a few weeks to get used to playing in the Premier League", Pellegrini said this week.

A long pass into Richarlison should have been easy for Bellerin to subdue, but he allowed the Brazilian forward to turn away from him far too easily, and it took a good save from Petr Cech to spare his team-mate's blushes.
