Exhibitor Relations reported today that not only will there be a Kingsman 3 but that it will be arriving as soon as next year.

The plot of this third "Kingsman" movie remains under wraps but Fox and director Matthew Vaughan have wasted little time in marking November 9, 2019 for their film's target date. Where have we heard that release date before?

With the 25th James Bond film having landed a replacement director, Cary Fukunaga of "True Detective" and "Beasts of No Nation" fame, it's full steam ahead for the younger, cheekier British spy movie series, "Kingsman". Some stories indicate no actors are on board, but others claim Taron Egerton will reprise his role as Gary "Eggsy" Unwin. The second film, Kingsman: The GOlden Circle, introduced Halle Berry, Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges, and Julianne Moore to the franchise. Previous titles in the series have included 2015's Kingsman: The Secret Service and 2017's Kingsman: The Golden Circle - Kingsman 3 does not yet have a subtitle but is all but assured to get one.

The sequel was a unanimous box office success, and made $410 million worldwide, while it's based on a successful comic book series.

It was previously reported that Matthew Vaughn was developing Kick-Ass and Kingsman spinoffs as part of a larger Mark Millar-verse. Writer/director Vaughn is returning, as is co-writer Jane Goldman. For one thing, as of a few months ago, he wanted to shoot the third Kingsman alongside a prequel entitled Kingsman: The Great Game, which would look at the mid-'90s formation of the spy agency.
