The price of the Nokia 5.1 Plus will be confirmed at 2 pm on Flipkart and the new Nokia smartphone will be a exclusive to the e-commerce platform.

To recall, Nokia 5.1 Plus is the rebranded version of Nokia X5 that was launched in China earlier this year.

Being an Android One smartphone, the Nokia 5.1 Plus boots Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with September 2018 security patches. Nokia 5.1 Plus with 3GB RAM and Helio P60 processor is be priced at a cool INR 10999 in India.


HMD has announced the release date and availability details of Nokia 5.1 Plus. It will also be sold on Nokia's online store in India.

The Nokia 5.1 Plus sports a 5.8-inch display with a HD+ (1520×720 pixels) resolution, and tall aspect ratio of 19:9. As part of the launch offer, Airtel customers can avail instant cashback of Rs 1,800 on the handset, and 240GB data benefits over 12 months on the Airtel's plans of Rs 199, Rs 249 and Rs 448. There is a dual camera setup at the back which includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/2.0 aperture) and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. It features a similar notched display wrapped inside a glass and metal design, which will be available in three color variants of Gloss Black, Gloss White, and Midnight Gloss Blue. On the front, the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel camera coupled with an f/2.2 aperture and 80.4-degree wide-angle lens. The device kept powered on by a 3,060mAh non-removable battery and that supports 5V/2A power input. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C (v2.0), and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
