UFC 229 is playing host to one of the biggest fights in UFC's history but among the lineup to get there is plenty of great action in its own right.

"First of all I want to say sorry to athletic commission Nevada, to Vegas, I know this is not my best side".

While most of the fallout from UFC 229 has focused around the post-match beatdown delivered to Conor McGregor following his defeat against Khabib Nurmagomedov, there was at least a lighter moment on the UFC 229 card after Derrick Lewis KO'ed Alexander Volkov earlier in the night. He threw a mouthpiece at them and then climbed out of the cage to attack them.

"He talk about my religion, he talk about my country, he talk about my father, he come to Brooklyn and he broke bus, he nearly killed a couple people - what about this?" he asked reporters. What about he talk about my religion? He come to Brooklyn and he broke bus.

After a lengthy delay, Nurmagomedov eventually addressed a media conference. They are withholding Khabib's purse, they are not withholding Conor's. UFC president Dana White said that after the commission reviewed footage of the incident, executive director Bob Bennett released McGregor's money. "And instead, you dive over the cage and start this huge melee with Conor's corner". They making him look bad on the news, him and Putin and shit. "I was like, 'We'll be lucky enough just to get him out of here without the belt'".

It's still not clear, however, what ramifications Nurmagomedov will face. "Looking forward to the rematch".
