Pittsburgh Steelers star Antonio Brown is accused of almost striking a toddler with one of the pieces of large furniture he hurled from a 14th-story balcony during an April outburst, a new lawsuit says.

According to one complaint, Brown damaged a $35,000, fully furnished unit that he began renting in February and refused to pay for the damages.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown tossed furniture from the balcony of his 14-story apartment building in April, almost killing a 22-month-old toddler, a lawsuit claims. "The falling objects included two very large vases, estimated to be over three feet each, as well as a large, heavy ottoman and other pieces of furniture", according to the suit.

Sternberg alleges that Brown was then "extremely agitated, active aggressively and yelling" at responding security personnel and police.

A rep for Brown did not immediately return a request for comment, TMZ Sports reports. KDKA-TV reported that a second lawsuit has been filed over the incident by the unit's landlord, charging that Brown damaged the unit and has not paid for damages.

Sternberg is suing Brown for assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress, claiming the All-Pro receiver acted "without regard for human life".

Both lawsuits were filed in Miami-Dade County in August and seek more than $15,000 in damages. Cops found the women who said they had been hired and authorized by someone claiming to be Brown's representative.
