Busy Philipps has a new memoir, entitled This Will Only Hurt a Little, out on October 16, and in the actress doesn't hold back.

Busy Philipps has made lifelong friends on film and TV sets over her 20-year career, but it sounds like James Franco isn't one of them.

Phillips, who has a new memoir debuting called This Will Only Hurt A Little, claims that during their time on the cult classic series Freaks and Geeks that Franco assaulted her on set, according to USA Today, Vulture, and various other sources.

She claims Franco broke character at that point and let his fury show by screaming at her and physically attacking her.

"(Franco) grabbed both my arms and screamed in my face, 'DON'T EVER TOUCH ME AGAIN!'" she says. Flat on my back.

Philipps claims Franco then stormed off, and the crew, who were reportedly shaken by his actions, rushed to help her up off the ground. "Wind knocked out of me", she wrote, calling her former co-star a "f**king bully".

"He threw me to the ground".

They did the take one more time and then she says she ran to her co-star Linda Cardellini's trailer and "sobbed" as she told Cardellini the story. However, the next day, Philipps allegedly writes that Franco apologized to her, only after the director and producers ordered him to do so.

The excerpt was published days after Philipps said she was raped when she was 14 years old, after Dr. Christine Blasey Ford testified about Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh allegedly sexually assaulting her in 1982. During her 2016 appearance on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live, she said the two "really, really disliked each other", and elaborated on his behavior.

It's not the first time Busy has detailed the incident, recalling the moment during a reunion with the cast at PaleyFest in 2011.

Philipps notes that Franco was never formally reprimanded for his actions and continued to work without effect.

Franco's reps didn't respond to Variety's request for comment.
