A teaser released by ABC also shows Llamas asking Mrs Trump about her husband's alleged infidelities.

She added, "I do stand with women, but we need to show the evidence".

"I do stand with women, but we need to show the evidence", Trump said.

In the clip of Trump's interview with ABC News anchor Tom Llamas, the first lady made her position on reporting sexual assault loud and clear to survivors.

Appearing on ABC News on Wednesday, The First Lady said: "It's sad to see that organizations and foundations I want to partner with choose not to because of the administration and I feel they are choosing the politics over helping others". "We need to support them - and also men, not just women".

Llamas said that some people might take the first lady's statement to mean that she doesn't actually support women.

First lady Melania Trump speaks out about the #MeToo movement - and also defends men. Kavanaugh denied those, as has Trump.

"You can not just say to somebody, I was sexually assaulted or you did that to me ... sometimes the media goes too far, the way they portray some stories, it's not correct, it's not right", she said.

It's not the only time she spoke about sexual assault allegations during her trip.

Her remarks come just days after Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed and sworn in after a weeks-long fight that intensified when a letter leaked from a woman claiming Kavanaugh had sexually assaulted her at a drunken high school party. He has called them all liars.
