The future of Ramsey remains uncertain, though, with the Welsh midfielder out of contract at the end of the season and no closer to agreeing an extension with the club he has represented for 10 years. His club are hoping that two Premier League sides start a bidding war for him in January.

Ramsey will leave the Emirates for free in the summer after failing to strike an agreement with Arsenal over a new contract. 'Spain are a very good team and especially in the first 30 minutes we got caught out.

Will he leave Arsenal in January?

In the end it was Sanchez who left in the winter transfer window, swapped for Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Ozil who signed a new long term deal on much improved wages.

Juventus have entered the chase to sign Aaron Ramsey and are willing to offer him £250,000 a week.

According to the London Evening Standard, Liverpool and Manchester United are weighing up bids for Ramsey in January.

Lacazette had scored a brace in Arsenal's 5-1 thrashing of Fulham at the weekend with his stylish strike and that earned him 86 points in the rating.

The Fekir deal collapsed in the summer and it would cost in excess of £50million to revive, but Ramsey is likely to be available for less than half that figure, given he now has just six months left to run on his contract.

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has been named in the Federation Internationale de Football Association team of the week alongside Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley. How has it come to this again for Arsenal? He covers all sport from football, formula one, cricket, rugby, tennis, athletics, mma and wrestling.
