'TRUMP ON HERO'S JOURNEY': Kanye West's free-style riffs dominate Oval Office

After a quick lunch, Trump and Kanye will probably sit down to hash out West's 2024 campaign strategy, because that's where all this is really headed, isn't it?

West said his 2016 bipolar diagnosis was incorrect - he is sleep-deprived instead - and said Trump had given him a "Superman cape" of empowerment for good. "Trump is on his hero's journey". And the fact that a woman was running for president made you so insecure in your masculinity that just the very concept of women supporting other women meant you felt like you couldn't play ball with your son? "She was very unfairly treated", Trump said of Johnson.

Trump had said that "stop-and-frisk works". Brown said he liked North Korea; Trump agreed.

He said: "What I need Saturday Night Live and the liberals to improve on is if he don't look good, we don't look good".

What's bitterly ironic about West's praise for Trump is that the president has far more in common with Superman's arch-enemy Lex Luthor.

During the monologue that ranged from prison reform to manufacturing, politics and the universe, West said: "They tried to scare me, my friends to not wear this hat, but this hat, it gives me power in a way".

Prosecutors alleged Hoover ran a deadly Chicago gang called the the Gangster Disciples and oversaw a $100 million-a-year illegal drug business from jail, according to The New York Times.

West's mother and father separated when he was young, so he didn't have a lot of "male energy" in the home growing up, he said Thursday.

It's unclear how West learned about Hoover's case, but it has been on his radar for at least a few weeks.

West, who is unsurprisingly obsessed with looks and fashion, blamed Saturday Night Live and the democrats for Air Force One's outdated appearance and tech. The rapper's wife, reality star Kim Kardashian, visited the White House in May. Spectators at the show included Trump's son-in-law and top adviser, Jared Kushner, former National Football League star Jim Brown, the attorney for a gang leader serving time in federal prison, and a gaggle of reporters.

Now White House press secretary Sarah Sanders has confirmed the get-together, and shared details about the meeting agenda. "We're not sending Kanye West to the White House to talk about these issues because he can't".

So who knows what this meeting could bring?

"I love Hillary, I love everyone, right. And he sees that". The two discussed multicultural issues, education and violence in Chicago, West tweeted at the time.

Mr Trump said he'd been willing to "look at it", adding, "they have to do something".

Trump is notoriously unpopular with black Americans and has been accused of being racist.
