Eugenie wore a low-backed dress that showed her scars from a childhood operation.

It's Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbank.

Lady Louise Windsor, the youngest granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip, chaperoned the bridal party as they made their way from the auto and up the front steps into St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.

The low back feature on the dress was at the specific request of Princess Eugenie who had surgery aged 12 to correct scoliosis - a medical condition in which a person's spine has a sideways curve.

Britain's Princess Eugenie of York (C) walks up the aisle to marry Jack Brooksbank during their wedding ceremony in St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Eugenie, 28, is ninth in line to the British throne.

Later, Jack drove Eugenie - who is ninth in line to the throne - away from the castle in style, wowing his new bride with a silver DB10 Aston Martin sports vehicle.

Princess Eugenie opted to go for British designers Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, which was very unexpected.

They are the daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

Singing and cheering well-wishers gathered outside in the streets of Windsor in the shadow of the castle, although there were far fewer people than crammed into the town for Harry's wedding.

Princess Charlotte, 3, daughter of Prince William and his wife Kate, was a bridesmaid, and her brother, Prince George, 5, a page boy.

There were occasional blue skies on a generally cloudy, gusty day as the royal standard flew atop the Windsor Castle complex, indicating the queen was in residence.

Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are to marry Friday at St. George's Chapel, which is part of the castle complex.

Security around Windsor was tight, with airport-style security checks and large numbers of police.

The royal family expressed gratitude to all those who enjoyed the wedding, saying on the official Twitter account: 'Thank you to everyone for watching and joining in with the #RoyalWedding celebrations - Congratulations once again to the happy couple!'
