Their break up may have been on the horizon for a little while, as Pete was seen recently having covered up his Ariana bunny tatto.

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson's engagement has officially been called off, according to TMZ.

As of Sunday, Grande has not removed mentions and photos of Davidson from her social media accounts, but Davidson has disabled his social accounts.

Sources close to Grande and Davidson told TMZ that the timing for the couple for was not right, but added that they haven't ruled out rekindling things in the future.

On Saturday, Grande backed out last minute from performing at F-k Cancer's inaugural Barbara Berlanti Heroes fund-raising gala, while manager Scooter Braun said she needs time to heal, seemingly after ex-boyfriend Mac Miller's death.

The "Saturday Night Live" star told Howard Stern last month that he received death threats over dating Grande. Her engagement ring cost $100,000, according to TMZ. The paparazzi had a blast capturing them as they strolled the streets of New York City, looking blissfully in love, sometimes with lollipops.

However, Grande expressed via social media that she was having a hard time recently while she called off several appearances too.

Davidson's reps did not immediately respond to EW's requests for confirmation. She ended up singing her song by herself. It's a sad day for their fans-and their baby pig.
