A source also told the outlet that the couple's relationship was "way too much too soon" and that their choice to end the engagement was "not shocking to anyone". Following the pair's sudden split on October 14, Ari gave her ex the almost $100,000 ring, which he had made specifically for her, back, according to TMZ.

However, according to TMZ, Ariana handed the flashy ring over with no fuss - although she gets to keep something else special. "She's still grieving the loss of the relationship and needs some time to adjust to life without Pete". Despite the difficulty of handing the ring over, though, Ari did not hesitate to give it back after she pulled the plug on her engagement, TMZ reports.

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have already divided up their stuff since splitting last week.

After Grande's ex-boyfriend Mac Miller's died on Sept. 7, Grande took some time to regroup, according to a statement released by her team in September. "It's not what she wants to do right now", the source continued.

Despite Ariana and Pete calling time on their romance, it's been reported that the former couple ended things amicably and are still planning on hanging out together. "Honestly who knows - they were fully together on Saturday".

Interestingly, Ari and Pete were spotted together on October 13, less than 24 hours before news of their breakup broke. The album in question has a song called Pete Davidson and the comedian laughed about the fact that he doesn't get any royalties from the song and should, just in case they "break up".
