Jose Mourinho has been charged by the Football Association for using "improper language" following Manchester United's victory over Newcastle United.

In the most recent game, Bailly was substituted after just 18 minutes against Newcastle United in the epic comeback win but Mourinho is said to have since contacted the Ivorian to reveal that the decision was tactical.

He has since been charged by the FA for "alleged comments" and he has until 6pm on Friday to respond.

The Reds had one of their worst ever starts to a Premier League campaign with three losses in their seven fixtures but their final game before the worldwide break was an epic 3-2 comeback victory against Newcastle United and there is hope that it will spark a change in fortunes.

Mourinho could potentially face a touchline ban if found guilty.

Jose Mourinho is still the manager at the club but the Portuguese has come under pressure after a slow start to the season. And despite trailing 2-0 at halftime, United managed to strike back and mount an incredible fight to win the game.

Footage from the game shows Mourinho saying something - at one point while looking into a camera - as he headed towards the tunnel following the final whistle.
