The 64th Eurovision Song Contest will be taking place at the Expo Tel Aviv (International Convention Center) in Israel on Tuesday 14, Thursday 16 and Saturday 18 May 2019. We look forward to again welcoming them at the "Eurovision", - the organizers wrote in social networks.

The EBU hopes to see both BNT and Bulgaria back in the competition in 2020.

Bulgaria made their Eurovision debut in 2005, and qualified for the first time for the Grand Final in 2007. The country withdrew from the competition in 2014 due to financial reasons and returned to the event in 2016 with flying colours when Poli Genova placed 4th in Stockholm with If love was a crime.

It is also noted that the cost of processing the Bulgarian participant in the contest, including the creation of the song, her stage performance and production of the corresponding video clip, and other related preparatory activities significantly exceed reasonable amounts, which would afford company.
