Hazratullah Zazai clubbed six sixes in an over delivered by Abdullah Mazari.

With this record feat, Zazai joined the elite list of players, who achieved the same in different formats of the game, that includes the likes of Sir Garfield Sobers, Ravi Shastri, Herschelle Gibbs, Yuvraj Singh, Alex Hales, Ravindra Jadeja and Misbah-ul-Haq.

The match between Rashid Khan-led Kabul Zwanan and Mohammed Nabi's Balkh Legends was a brilliant example of the same.

Flambouyant Afghanistan batsman Hazratullah Zazai became the sixth batsman to hit six sixes in an over en route to joint-fastest T20 fifty on Sunday.

Kabul raced to 70 for no loss in 4 overs thanks to Zazai's jaw-dropping display of cricket and the Afghanistan worldwide completed his fifty in twelve balls, equalling the record for the fastest half-century in T20 cricket shared by Chris Gayle himself and India's Yuvraj Singh.

The 20-year-old Zazai, who recently made his one-day worldwide debut against Ireland, called it a "proud moment".

Hosts Balkh Legends posted a mammoth 244 for 6 on the board batting first with Chris Gayle, top-scoring with 80 off 48 balls. "It is a very enjoyable moment for me that my name is now linked to so many big names of the game, who are really legends of the game", Zazai said. He raised his bat for a half century after reaching the mark on 12 balls.

Hazratullah Zazai had made his worldwide debut recently against Ireland.

He is the second man after Yuvraj to do it in a T20 game.

The 14th match of the Afghanistan Premier League 2018 was an absolute spectacle to watch.

'I was just trying to play my natural game and did not in any way think of outshining anyone, ' he said.

But Zazai' feat came in a losing cause as his side Kabul Zwanan, while chasing a stiff 245-run target fell short at the end by 21 runs.
